After retiring as an Army Colonel Engineer officer with over 30 years of leadership experience and working within industry for 4 years, Dan joined BTS in December 2011. He has served in a variety positions to include VP Operations, President, BTS and currently as the Chief Operating Officer for BTS Software Solutions.

Dan, a registered Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional, concluded his military career as the Executive Director of Military Programs (Construction and Emergency Operations), Headquarters, US Army Corps of Engineers, Washington DC. Dan has successfully managed over 100+ military construction projects in the United States and in six foreign countries in support of Department of Defense objectives. His leadership, planning, and organizational abilities successfully enabled him to lead the largest troop construction project for United States Army Pacific since WWII in designing and emplacing anti-terrorist and force protection measures for sensitive military facilities following 911. During his tenure in the Pentagon on the US Army Deputy 3/5/7, Force Management team, Dan was the lead engineer and organizational integrator for the transformation and modularity of the Active, National Guard and Reserve engineer units.

Upon retirement, Dan joined a Virginia based Environmental, Construction, and Professional Services small business as a Senior Vice President for US Construction Operations. During these 4 years, he successfully led a profit loss center, increased revenues and margins, and expanded their geographical presence by creating two new service lines, telecommunications infrastructure and technology.
Dan has extensive experience in directly managing organizations with limited budgets, resources and equipment, Dan possesses exceptional people skills and can create and maintain cohesive teams that will accomplish organizational goals and objectives.
