Welcome to the Back rooms.

The internet has turned the Back rooms into a modern legend—a seemingly endless maze of empty liminal spaces where people wander without direction, never quite having their bearings (seen the movie? If not, start here). 

It made us think.

For a lot of professionals in government contracting, that feeling isn’t entirely fictional.

Too often, talented people become little more than a labor category on a spreadsheet. They move from contract to contract, project to project, rarely feeling connected to the mission, the company, or the people around them. They show up, do great work, and disappear into another hallway.

That’s the real Back rooms.

Our campaign isn’t really about creepy hallways. It’s about something much more familiar: feeling stuck. Feeling adrift. Searching for an anchor.

At BTS, we’ve always believed people deserve better than being treated like “just another LCAT.”

That’s why our message has been so simple:

Don’t be just an LCAT. You’re more than that.

And what better way to pay off this idea than to bring back our LCAT campaign from years ago. Because who doesn’t enjoy seeing a giant cat wander the back rooms!?

It’s not about finding another hallway.

It’s about finding a company where you’re known, challenged, supported, and connected to meaningful work.

The maze was never the point. The feeling was.

And fortunately…
